Stevia naturally contains sweetening molecules, called steviosides. Extracted from its leaves, the Rebaudioside A is the natural sweetest component of stevia, with a sweetening power 300 times stronger than the power of our regular table sugar.
With no nutritive value and being unassimilated by our organism, it contains naturally no calorie.

Contrary to intense sweeteners (aspartame, saccharin…), it is neither synthetic nor the result of chemical reactions. It is also perfectly soluble in water and stands heat until 120°, what makes of it a product suitable for numerous uses.

So far, only the Rebaudioside A pure at 97% minimum is authorised in France as table sweetener.

The extract of stevia Comptoirs et Compagnies is pure at 98% minimum, guaranteed by systematic laboratory tests.
